Massachusetts Gov. proposes broad changes to state public defense system

Today, NLADA research director David Carroll appeared on Radio Boston, a local NPR affiliate station, to discuss Massachusetts Governor Patrick's proposed changes to the state's defender system. This topic has generated a significant amount of press this entire week, and it is likely to continue on for at least a few more news cycles, if not long into the legislative session.
